We have arrived safe and sound in the UK after an uneventful and easy journey, spoilt slightly by the 1/2 hour wait at passport control in the UK.  Whichever genius timetabled at least 4 flights all arriving at the same time should be thanked, preferably with a sharp stick in the eye.  The irony of arriving back in the UK and then immediately having to queue was not lost.

Am knackered but ok, going to stay up until normal sleep time to beat the jet lag.

Fed my family Mauritius style chillis and pickles and it was predictably amusing to see their reaction to the level of heat – many thanks to the ladies at work who prepared them for us.
